We Empower Schools to Make Data Decisions

  • Schools and districts can use Guided Readers without sharing any Personal Data from students other than their name. Teachers will set up student accounts and use Guided Readers to track their students’ progress.
  • A student’s name is entered into the database by their teacher and assigns each student a two-picture password.

  • We will only share Personal Data of students in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Use of Guided Readers

Only parents, schools and districts that have obtained licenses and provided consent on behalf of students can create student accounts. Children/Students are NEVER REQUIRED to submit any personal information onto Guided Readers. 

Each student is assigned to a “classroom account” by their teacher or school district and assigned a password. The students will access their student portal by inputting their teachers username, choose their name from dropdown menu from the teacher, and input their two-picture password that was assigned by their teacher. 

Collection of Information from Teachers & School Districts
We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by teachers, school districts, or parents. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner.

Cookie/Tracking Technology
The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information.
